The Vortex Story
Throughout 2023, Vortex did something that had never been done in Arkansas before. We asked Arkansans all over the state to nominate extraordinary ordinary Arkansans that they would like to see represent them in the House of Representatives.
We received over 70 amazing nominations. From that group, we found 4 remarkable candidates who are rooted in Arkansas and ready to lead.
Why We’re Called Vortex
Years ago, scientists determined that it was aerodynamically impossible for the bumblebee to fly – their bodies are too big and their wings are too small. But someone forgot to tell the bumblebee, because they’ve been flying all along. We know now that bumblebees work hard and by flapping their wings they create a vortex that lifts them up and together their lift is even stronger. And that’s just what we’re going to do here in Arkansas. We are the vortex, and together we will rise up.
