Vortex PAC ended operations on August 5, 2026. We are no longer raising money, endorsing candidates, or organizing, and the committee's termination is being filed with the Federal Election Commission.
The Record
Vortex PAC was founded in February 2023 to recruit, endorse, and support Democratic congressional candidates in Arkansas — people rooted in their communities and ready to lead. For three and a half years, a small team and a lot of grassroots donors did the work that makes campaigns competitive and this year we're seeing the results.
We recruited, vetted, and backed congressional candidates with grassroots credibility — in districts most people had written off.
We translated congressional votes into kitchen-table consequences, so Arkansas voters knew what was actually at stake.
We ran voter contact and registration programs, ICE and voter protection trainings, and community outreach — especially in Latino and youth communities, in English and Spanish.
We held incumbents accountable — connecting their votes, their donors, and their records to real consequences for Arkansas families.

To everyone who gave, knocked doors, made calls, showed up to a training, shared a post, or simply believed that Arkansas deserved better representation: thank you. None of it happened without you.
All recurring contributions through ActBlue were cancelled automatically when the committee went inactive. No one will be charged again.
The committee's remaining funds are being contributed to the 2026 campaigns of Chris Jones and Robb Ryerse, within federal contribution limits.
Final reports and the committee's termination are being filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Our email program has ended and our social media accounts are being retired.

Vortex PAC is closed, but the two candidates we supported in 2026 remain on the November ballot. Their campaigns are where the work lives now.
